This should be an interesting for trend tracking over the next few hours:
Here's Santorum's view on our national unemployment problem as he articulated in Illinois:
"We need a candidate who's going to be a fighter for freedom. Who's going to get up and make that the central theme in this race because it is the central theme in this race," Santorum told a crowd of about 200 voters during a rally here on Monday. "I don't care what the unemployment rate's going to be. Doesn't matter to me. My campaign doesn't hinge on unemployment rates and growth rates. It's something more foundational that's going on."
Just another republican who has no cares about those Americans who are suffering in the economic downturn!
This was all over the news yesterday:
Apple announced on Monday that it would at last return some of its cash pile to shareholders in the form of dividends and stock buybacks, at a cost of more than $10 billion a year for the next three years. But it is attracting so much cash — $1 billion a week in the last holiday season alone — that the move will not put a dent in Apple’s coffers.
I have a suggestion for apple: lower the cost of your overpriced products and you could make even more money by expanding your market to people to previously could not afford your products!
